WAKULLA Co., Fla. -- A 21-year-old Tallahassee resident was critically injured during a hit-and-run crash in Wakulla, and now Florida troopers are looking for a suspect.
According to an FHP crash report, the accident happened around 1 a.m. on Wednesday, May 15. An unknown driver, traveling west on Whiddon Lake Road, ran off the road while trying to drive through a curve. The car traveled into the north shoulder, where a creek travels under the road, before veering down an embankment and into a tree.
Troopers say the driver got out and fled the scene, leaving the passenger, Logan Shea Wortwick, behind with serious injuries.
The crash was reportedly alcohol related. Charges are pending.

Troopers say that both the driver and the passenger were wearing seat belts.
