BRISTOL, Fla. -- A Bristol man killed in a Thursday evening crash wasn't wearing his seat belt, according to Florida troopers.
The single-car crash happened on January 23, around 11 a.m. The driver, 52-year-old Thomas Wayne Griffin, was traveling west on CR 67. For unknown reasons, the Griffin veered off the road. The car spun around, hit several trees, and overturned.
Griffin was ejected from the car, and died as a result of the accident. There were no other passengers in the vehicle, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
It is unknown if the crash was alcohol related. Troopers say results are pending.
