VALDOSTA, Ga. (WTXL)-- Cell phone video of a veteran getting arrested during a protest at Valdosta State University goes viral, reaching thousands of views on Youtube in just 1 day.
According to a protest participant, members of the UNPrison Free Spirit, The New Black Panther Party, and Gatherers of Divine Souls gathered to rally for the uplifting of the black community.
During the protest, participants rejected the American Flag, embracing the Pan-Afrikan flag, and placing the US flag on the ground, exclaiming the flag does not represent the black community.
The confrontation in the video happened after a female veteran tried to remove the American Flag from the ground during the protest.
