TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Women in the community gathered for the Women Have Drive conference Wednesday.
The event features a list of engaging speakers to inspire professional women to be the driver of their business and personal success. The conference was presented by the Tallahassee Woman Magazine and the Women Who Mean Business community.
Professional women in the community wanted to come together under the common goal to empower their internal drive in all aspects of their lives.
The Tallahassee Woman Magazine extended their quarterly lunch-in to an all day event. There was a sense of camaraderie between the 150 women in attendance for the sold out conference.
The first half of the day was focused on business aspects and networking, while the second half featured creative hands on activities and ways to balance your work and play. The 15 speakers covered different backgrounds, from health and wellness to marketing and entrepreneurship. During the course of the day, women were encouraged to make time to themselves and find a balance between work and play.
The conference is about women embracing their purpose and devoting time to what matters most, but also never missing out on an opportunity to celebrate each day.
The theme "Women Have Drive" represents women in the community tapping into their internal drive to know they can make a difference in the workplace and beyond.
