TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The Florida Department of Transportation is encouraging Floridians to thank our first responders.
Governor Rick Scott issued a proclamation, recognizing January 5-9 as "Florida First Responder Appreciation Week".
FDOT says they are displaying messages on dynamic message signs across the state to remind Floridians.
They say Florida’s first responders put their lives on the line every day to keep our communities safe.
