TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Florida Department of Law Enforcement officials want to remind you to watch out for suspicious activity during Fourth of July celebrations.

FDLE warns residents to be mindful of threats, unintended packages and other odd activity.

And if you see something, say something

"Be aware of your surroundings, be vigilant," said Gretl Plessinger, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement communications director. "Law enforcement in Florida does a great job of keeping citizens safe but we can't be everywhere all the time. We do need our citizens help. I you see something, something just doesn't feel right, call it in."

FDLE wants you to be mindful of threats on social media, and contact local law enforcement if you suspect any suspicious activity.
