FDLE Looking for Information on Man Accused of Assaulting Sleeping Girl

ST. TERESA BEACH, Fla. - The Franklin County Sheriff's Office and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement is asking the public for any information about a man who assaulted an underage girl while she was asleep in her bed.

The incident happened at St. Teresa Beach on April 25, 2015. An unidentified man went into the home of the victim around 4:15 a.m. and assaulted her "in a lewd manner" according to a press release from FDLE and the Franklin County Sheriff's Office.

Authorities say the victim alerted others in the home and the man fled in a grey Silverado or similar pickup truck.

The man is described by authorities as approximately 6 feet tall, in his 20s or 30s, with an average build with curly or wavy brown hair. He is said to have a tattoo across his upper back in some kind of design or pattern.
