PINELLAS CO., Fla. (WTXL) - The Florida Department of Law Enforcement has issued an unsolved Amber Alert for Zachary Michael-Cole Bernhardt.
Reports say Zachary was last seen sleeping in his bed on the night of September 10, 2000. It was discovered he was missing at 4 a.m. the next morning.
At the time of his disappearance, he was 8 years old.
Bernhardt would now be a 25-year-old white male, with blonde hair and blue eyes. He is from Clearwater, Fla.
Law enforcement says his disappearance is under suspicious circumstances.
Officials say Zachary goes by the nickname Zach and has a scar under his chin. He also has a scar between his eyes on the bridge of his nose and the right side of his top lip.
