TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - It was all about honoring law enforcement Saturday at the Florida Capitol.
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement inducted five officers into the Florida Law Enforcement Officers Hall of Fame.
FDLE recognized current and former law enforcement for their many years of service, leadership and impact on the community.
"It was a great honor to serve as a law enforcement officer for 30 years and to get on this is just unbelievable to me," said Ernest George, 2018 Florida Law Enforcement Officers Hall of Fame Inductee.
Each inductee served for more than 30 years in their respective departments.
