LIBERTY COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - A local school custodian has been arrested after an undercover investigation revealed he asked a 14-year-old victim for lewd pictures.
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement has arrested John Elias Grande Jr., 29, of Blountstown for lewd and lascivious conduct and online solicitation of a minor.
FDLE says they received a request from the Liberty County Sheriff’s Office to investigate a case involving a 14-year-old victim receiving message from an adult through a mobile app.
In December, agents assumed an undercover identity to communicate with Grande’s account. During that time, Grande requested lewd pictures of the victim.
Agents arrested Grande was arrested Thursday and he was booked into the Liberty County Jail. He has since bonded out.
They say Grande was a school custodian at Hosford Middle School.
