FBI offers $2,500 reward for info about Dawson bank robber

(WTXL)- The FBI is offering a $2,500 reward for information leading to the arrest of the man who robbed a bank and a hotel in Georgia.

The armed man succeeded in robbing a Dawson, Ga., bank - One South Bank at the 900 block of Forrester Drive - on July 3, 2017. He was wearing an orange construction style reflective vest, fake beard, sunglasses and a boonie-style hat.

After obtaining an undisclosed amount of money, the robber left the bank.

Earlier, the FBI later determined, man was involved in two other incidents in College Park, in Clayton County, on June 29, 2017.

At 9:15 a.m., the man tried to rob the SunTrust Bank at 5420 West Fayetteville Road. Wearing the same clothing as before, he left without getting any money.

At 11 p.m., he robbed the Baymont Inn and Suites hotel at 2450 Old National Highway. He pointed a gun at the front-desk employee and demanded money while wearing a fake beard, bonnie-style hat and sunglasses.

He is described as a black male age early to mid-30's in age who stands between 5'5" to 5'10" in height and weighs approximately 200 pounds. His hair is long dreadlocks.
