SARASOTA, Fla. (WTXL) - A father and grandfather are behind bars and face child neglect charges after police say they were found drunk and unresponsive in a hot car with two children.
Paul Houle III, 22, and Paul Houle Jr., 51, were arrested in Sarasota.
According to police, a witness reported the two men were unresponsive in the front seat with a 4-year-old and a 2-year-old inside.
They said two bottles of alcohol and an open beer were found inside the vehicle.
The children were taken into the care of the Department of Children and Families.
