MONTICELLO, FL (WTXL) - An early morning crash in Jefferson County has taken the life of a Tallahassee man.
It happened Thursday just after 3 a.m. on State Road 59 in Monticello.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, 21-year-old Bailey Hildebrandt was driving southbound when his car went off into the right shoulder. He then over-corrected, causing the vehicle to travel across the northbound lanes and overturn.
Hildebrandt was ejected from the car. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Troopers are asking drivers to avoid the area near State Road 59 and Beth Page Road.
