SUWANNEE COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - Troopers have reported a fatal accident on I-10 eastbound in Live Oak.

The Florida Highway Patrol said that they arrived to the crash near mile marker 275 at 2:45 p.m. They said that the crash involved a semi-truck and a pick up truck.

They have confirmed that one person has died as a result of the crash.

They said that all eastbound lanes of traffic on I-10 are closed at US 90.

According to the Suwannee County Sheriff's Office, around 3 p.m., an overturned semi was engulfed in flames and blocking the eastbound lanes. At that time, they said that there was also a single car accident blocking the westbound lanes.

Around 4 p.m., the Florida Division of Emergency Management said that a large saddle tank came off the semi truck, releasing 85 to 100 gallons of diesel onto nearby CSX train tracks.

They said that no reported waterways or storm drains were impacted.

Deputies said to expect increased traffic in the city limits of Live Oak as traffic will be rerouted by FHP and DOT.

We will update this story as we confirm more details.
