TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - On Thanksgiving eve, Farm Share is distributing food, including turkeys, to help ensure people have a hot holiday meal.

Farm Share is distributing the food Wednesday at the Centre of Tallahassee behind the pavilion area near the Burlington Coat store.

Leon County Sheriff's Office deputies are there helping out in support of Farm Share, Living Stones, Project GOO and Destiny Church.

They began distributing food at 11 a.m. and will continue to be given away on a first come first serve basis while supplies last.

People invited to drive through and pick up food for their Thanksgiving meal, including drinks, cakes and pie-shell fillings.

The food also includes macaroni and cheese, mash potatoes, green beans and bananas.
