TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Farm Share will be distributing free food Thursday to anyone who needs it.
Farm Share says for many Floridians the holiday season brings an empty pantry and an empty wallet.
The non-profit is hoping to ease the burden by giving out about 36,000 pounds of fruit, vegetables, meats, canned goods and other food products to those in need.
They'll be at the Leon County Sheriff's Office, on Municipal Way, beginning at 8 a.m. Thursday.
This is a first-come, first-serve event while supplies last. So you'll want to get there early.
