TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Florida State fans got an up-close look at this year's Seminoles at FSU's fan day on Sunday.

Thousands flooded the Civic Center Sunday afternoon, some even telling us they waited in line hours before doors opened.

Fans had a chance to meet and receive autographs from their favorite Seminole players and coaches.

Many we spoke to say, there's a new level of excitement for this football season.

Fans are thrilled to see what first-year Head Coach Willie Taggart will bring to the table.

"I think that we're bringing this back to the Noles that we know, you, know when I was younger," said FSU fan Nicole Benton. "Everything is just coming back. I'm just positive about it, I think it's going to be a great season."

Everyone at fan day says they can't wait to see what Coach Taggart will bring to the table.

With the first game only two weeks away, people are definitely ready for the Seminoles to hit the field.
