TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) - Leon High was shy of sun, but not of fans as they kicked off their first official game of the season. Dedicated fans pushed through the rain to support their Lions.
Leon High School is celebrating 100 years of football this season.
Just as the football has been around, so has the fans.
Dourest Robinson has been attending games since 2003 and although he has no ties to Leon High School, he loves Lion football.
Alan Raynor graduated from Leon High School 18 years ago and comes each week to the games.
Former football players were also in sight at this first home game. Ted Strauss shares a time when he was a part of a state championship years ago.
