TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) - FAMU has invited the community to celebrate family, food, and fun at the 16th Annual Grape Harvest Festival.
This year's festival has been themed "Purple Reign" and is expected to draw in more than 3,000 participants. Featured activities include the popular grape stomping contest, live entertainment, water slides, grape and wine sampling, and more.
In addition to various family-friendly activities, participants will have an opportunity to tour the university's grape vineyard.
The event will take place Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the FAMU Center for Viticulture and Small Fruits Research. Parking begins at 7:30 a.m. and will be located at the Antique Car Museum. A complimentary shuttle to the festival ground will be provided.
