TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - FAMU's Board of Trustees has scheduled an emergency called meeting to discuss issues surrounding the contract of President-select Dr. Elmira Mangum.
The board will conduct its meeting on Thursday, February 13 at 4:00 p.m. The meeting is open to the public via telephone at (877) 884-1929. The conference ID number is 23698072.
The Board of Trustees has struggled in recent weeks to reach an agreement on some of the details of Dr. Mangum's contract, including her salary.
Dr. Mangum is currently scheduled to begin her tenure as FAMU President on April 1.
