TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) Florida A&M University has set an inauguration ceremony date for President Elmira Mangum.
FAMU will host an inauguration ceremony for President Mangum on Friday, October 3 at the Alfred Lawson Jr. Multipurpose Center and Teaching Gymnasium.
The ceremony is part of a week-long celebration of President Mangum and the university, as well as Founder's Day. Inauguration Week lasts from September 28 to October 4.
Elmira Mangum, Ph.D. took over as the 11th President of Florida A&M University on April 2, after a nationwide presidential search that lasted more than a year.
