TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (FAMU) -- Plans to finalize the process of choosing Florida A&M University's 11th president are underway. Beginning on Monday, March 18, the Presidential Search Committee will start a two-day meeting to begin the next phase of the process of selecting a new president.

The search for a new president began in August of 2012. Karl White, chair of the Presidential Search Committee says, "We are looking for a dynamic individual who has the ability to lead and who will help FAMU carry out its very important mission.”
