Tallahassee, Fla. (WTXL) - Florida A&M University professor Reginald "Reggie" Ellis joined Jade Bulecza in the studio today to discuss the history of Black History Month and how citizens can get involved.
FAMU has a number of exciting events planned for the month of February.
Ellis highlighted the Black History Month Convocation that takes place later this month.
A keynote will be delivered by history-making judge, attorney, and FAMU Board of Trustees member Belvin Perry Jr. The event will also feature FAMU Interim President Larry Robinson, Ph.D., the FAMU Student Government Association, and performances by the University's Concert Chorale and Wind Symphony.
The Black History Month Convocation will take place on February 10th at 10:10 a.m. at the Jake Gaither Gymnasium.
