TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Florida A & M University officially has a new president.
The Florida Board of Governors has confirmed Dr. Larry Robinson as FAMU''s 12th president.
Robinson tweetet Thursday: "I am humbled and honored to be confirmed by the BOG today as FAMU's 12th president. Many thanks to the BOT, students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends."
Robinson has outlined multiple areas of focus as president.
His plans include stabilizing the university, increasing graduation rates, and increasing financial support.
