TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL)--FAMU President Dr. Elmira Mangum announces a four-city trip to China.
The tour is set from May 30 to June 6 and is part of Mangum's ongoing effort to globalize FAMU.
She went to Sao Paolo, Brazil last year to focus on expanding access and opportunities for Brazilians to attend college in the U.S.
FAMU currently serves students from more than 70 nations and has cooperative agreements with universities and organizations in Africa and India.
Mangum and delegates from seven other historically black colleges and universities are making the visit to solidify and develop relationships through the HBCU-China scholarship network.
