FAMU police investigating carjacking; looking for suspect

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Florida A&M University (FAMU) police are looking for a man, who they say, carjacked a vehicle this evening.

According to an alert sent out by FAMU PD, the carjacking occurred at Benjamin Banneker, 1333 Wahnish Way.

FAMU PD tells ABC27, they received a call after 6:00pm tonight that a female FAMU student was carjacked by an armed man.

The suspect is described as a black male, 5 feet 11 inches tall, thin build and armed with a hand gun.

Police say the vehicle is a black VW Jetta with FAMU decal and Florida license plate N331LI.
