TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) - Florida A&M University has been named among the Best Institutions in America by the Wall Street Journal and Times Higher Education.
FAMU is being recognized for its focus on the student experience.
The university was rated the highest in engagement with a score of 82.5. The engagement category included survey results based on student recommendations, student interaction, and classroom subject depth.
The report compared universities and colleges in categories ranging from student engagement to resource availability.
According to the report, FAMU is in the top 500 colleges in the country, and the top 150 in the south.
The rankings were established using data collected over the last four years.
