TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The Florida A&M Marching 100 are in California getting ready for one of the biggest performances in its history.

On Friday night, the band performed in front of the Staples Center in Los Angeles before the Lakers-Clippers game.

The Marching 100 have been practicing for more than a year to get ready.

The spirits are very high coming out of last night's performance before the Laker-Clippers game.

"We just preformed at the staple Center we marched in the crowd loved us, we played a few songs. Great exposure, the crowd loved us.We're going to get a lot of recruitment in. It was a great start to the week," said Marching 100 member.

Saturday, the band held a rehearsal for the big performance in Santa Monica.
