TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL)- On Saturday, campers at the FAMU Marching 100 Summer Band Camp will show off what they learned this week.
At 10:00 a.m. you can catch them performing a pre-game and half-time show in Bragg Memorial Stadium, located at 1835 Wahnish Way.
Those putting on the camp this year say it's a great opportunity for aspiring musicians, "the Florida A&M University Band Camp is designed to provide the ultimate musical, marching, and cultural experience for its participants," said Sylvester Young, Ph.D., director of marching and pep bands. "Many of the past participants have gone on to become professionals in every academic field and always mention the FAMU Band Camp as one of their life-changing experiences."
Saturday's event is free to attend.
