TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Florida A&M University's Marching 100 has returned from their historic trip to the Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena, California.
The band was handpicked to perform and prepared for the performance for over a year.
They arrived in California last Friday and in addition to performing at the parade, they also performed in downtown LA prior to a Los Angeles Lakers game, at Bandfest, and the First AME Church.
For some of the band members it was their first time on a plane and traveling to California.
"We got to experience a lot of stuff. We got to play for millions of fans. Now we have millions of fans at our fingertips. That are going to support us everything through from across the nation," said Band Member Duy Tran. "So it's been a great experience, and I thank everyone who has contributed with donations and who has helped us to achieve our goals to go to Pasadena."
