TALLAHASSEE, FLA. (WTXL) - The "United Faculty of Florida" chapter at FAMU is speaking out, after FAMU administration releases their proposed changes for faculty salaries.
According to the group, FAMU administration has stalled on providing answers to faculty salary proposals. FAMU administration is now offering a one-percent pay raise to the base of faculty salaries and a one-percent bonus.
According to the group, they say FAMU faculty salaries are one of the lowest in the state university system. They also say they are insulted by the administration's proposal.
