FAMU Faculty and Students React to Three Deans' Removal from Office

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Changes are coming to Florida A&M University after three deans were removed from office.

The deans received hand delivered letters from the office of the provost and vice president of academic affairs .

The outgoing deans are Dr. Ann Kimbrough, from the School of Journalism and Graphic Communication, Traki Taylor, from the College of Education, and Michael Thompson, from the College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences.

In the letter, Dr. Kimbrough was moved to a full-time professor position.

WTXL visited the campus to day to get reaction to the news.

Three interim deans were appointed. University officials say there will be a review of the academic programs this week.
