TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Florida A&M University is inviting the community to donate hurricane relief items to FAMU students, faculty, staff, and alumni impacted by Hurricane Michael.
The FAMU Cares Hurricane Michael Relief Drive is accepting bottled water, hand sanitizer, deodorant, personal hygiene items, first aid kits, baby wipes, paper towels, batteries, flashlights, manual can openers and non-perishable, canned food.
Items will be collected Monday, Oct. 15 through Friday, Oct. 19 from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
The items can be dropped off at FAMU Department of Campus Safety and Security (2400 Wahnish Way, Tallahassee, Florida 32310).
