Tallahassee, FL - In an effort to quickly get the new selection to lead FAMU on the job, the Board of Trustees has scheduled an emergency meeting on Friday to approve her contract.
Earlier this month the board selected Dr. Elmira Mangum of Cornell University to lead the school after several rounds of meetings.
The board has scheduled a conference call for 10:00 am EDT on Friday.
