TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Bragg Memorial Stadium is in need of a face lift before Florida A&M football hits the field next season.

FAMU's Board of Trustees budget conference call was today to discuss approval for new on campus facilities and fundraising for Bragg Memorial Stadium.

Some of the repairs that need to be done at the stadium include structural repairs, internal stair replacement, sand blasts, and restroom renovation.

$600,000 are needed to strengthen the stadium and $60,000 will be granted as early as next week.

Athletic Director Milton Overton Jr. said that FAMU Athletics will have to reach out to between 100 and 125 stakeholders who have capacity to pledge $5,000 for renovations.

He also adds that he is pretty confident that they can reach the $600,000 goal by June 30th.
