TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Florida A&M University is also expanding their network of resources with a new international partnership.
FAMU is hosting a group of administrators and scientists from Anand Agricultural University in India this week.
The schools are joining forces to bring several ideas to fruition including faculty and student exchange programs, online courses and joint degrees.
"One of the things we agreed to work on with India is on international corroboration," said Professor O.S. Mbuya, who is the director for the center of water resources. "Students from India will be coming here, they'll pay tuition, and that'll be revenue for the university."
This week's visit comes after the two universities signed a Memorandum of Understanding back in January.
