TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The weather is unlikely to stop excited students and their parents from celebrating graduation this weekend in Tallahassee.

Both FAMU and FSU are set to hold commencement exercises starting Friday.

WTXL ABC 27's Jada Williams was live this Friday morning with details on both ceremonies.

Get ready to see a lot of traffic Friday night as families come in to celebrate the nearly 700 FAMU graduates and close to 2,600 FSU graduates.

For students at FSU, Friday's commencement is tonight at 7:30.

Then things pick back up Saturday morning at 9.

Both will be held at the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center.

Florida A&M is starting off their graduation at 6 tonight at the Al Lawson Center, with the next commencement taking place tomorrow morning at 9 - same location.

Newly elected Orange County Florida Mayor Jerry L. Demings is speaking at FAMU's service.

Florida State University's national champion softball coach Lonni Alameda and business administration professor Pamela Perrewé will address FSU's grads.

With two big ceremonies, traffic will be tricky and even trying to eat out after those ceremonies will yield a lot of traffic. So plan accordingly.
