PORT ORANGE, Fla. (AP) — Friends and family marked the fifth anniversary of the disappearance of a 28-year-old central Florida woman with a candlelight vigil.
A group of about 20 gathered in Port Orange Sunday to celebrate the life of Laurel Lea Rogers and to ask anyone with information to come forward.
The Daytona Beach News-Journal (http://bit.ly/1Kjzlm7 ) reports Rogers hasn't been seen since Feb. 1, 2010, when she left her family's home and got into a friend's car. There has been no activity on her credit cards or cell phone. She also suffered from lupus and left home without her medication.
Port Orange Det. George Olivera says they've partnered with about 15 law enforcement agencies and have interviewed about 70 people.
Police are offering a $20,000 reward for information about her disappearance.
