PANACEA, FL -- Food wasn't the only topic on the brain during Friday's Sunrise. While out on the road in Wakulla County at Coastal Restaurant in Panacea, FL, Christine Souders caught up with David Moody.
Moody works as a Ranger with St. Mark's Wildlife Refuge in Wakulla County. The local treasure is a hometown favorite among residents.
"Refuges are different than national parks and other places just because wildlife is first. So everything is wildlife. We have a lot of recreation, but if the wildlife is not taken care of first, then the recreation doesn't happen," Moody said.
St. Mark's Wildlife Refuge is the second largest piece of land in the county. The Apalachicola National Forest takes the Number 1 spot.
