MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) - Shots being fired are a familiar sound at the Talon Range, but Sunday it was families taking aim.
The range hosted a family workshop.
Instructors educated parents and kids on gun safety, range etiquette and basic shooting skills.
The folks at Talon Range say the goal is to teach those who maybe wouldn't normally visit a gun range how to be safe around firearms.
Talon Range offers free, family workshops every month.
Their next class is January 21, and they say you should sign up early because spots fill up fast.
Children must be at least 5-years-old to take part.
