(RNN) – An explosion led to a fire at a downtown building in Houston on Monday. The fire department has extinguished the blaze.
The city is reeling from the devastating flooding from Harvey, which was downgraded from a hurricane to a tropical storm.
A video posted on Twitter shows flames shooting out from the bottom of the building in front of deserted streets.
KTRK in Houston reports the building that was on fire in the Twitter video is the office of Lone Star Legal Aid, which provides pro bono and legal aid.
Harvey has dumped more than 30 inches of rain on the region, creating record flooding. Resources are stretched thin; 911 has received more than 2,000 calls.
