TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The start of a new school semester and a new year means there are probably many new people in Tallahassee.
And most likely those newcomers are looking for all that Tallahassee has to offer.
WTXL ABC 27's Jada Williams joined us live Friday from Cascades Park.
Experience Tallahassee is a lot like a crash course on what the Capital City has to offer - showing students they can live, work, and play here.
The fourth annual Experience Tallahassee Festival will be Saturday.
This year, new experiences include a mini "pre-event" at Midtown to showcase the area, a career-focused area for students to network with local business owners and talk with the universities' Career Centers and local food vendors.
While marketed toward students, the event is open to all.
It runs from 4 p.m. until 10 p.m. Saturday at Cascades Park.
The festival began when people from FAMU, FSU and TCC wanted to provide incoming and new students an opportunity to learn more about Tallahassee.
