TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Tallahassee's Independent Ethics Board is going over plans for the upcoming year Tuesday night.

Members are meeting at city hall where they're taking a closer look at recommendations from mayor Andrew Gillum about updating the ethics code.

In its last meeting in November, the board decided to delegate each of the six suggestions to each member for them to deconstruct and present with more clarity.

They include bans on accepting certain funding, lobbying, and campaigning connections.

The board will also elect a new chair for the upcoming year and hash out goals for 2018.
