Escaped Colquitt County Prisoner Still Missing

COLQUITT Co., GA (WTXL) - An inmate from the Colquitt County Prison is still on the run after escaping Friday, according to prison officials.

Kenneth Martin Anderson, was on a work detail cleaning bushes in a drainage canal in Moultrie when he went missing sometime after 12:30 p.m. on Friday, says Warden Billy Howell.

Anderson is a 24-year-old, white male with blue eyes and brown hair. He is 6'0" tall and 175 pounds. Anderson has two tattoos, one on his lower back and a skull and stars tattoo on one arm.

Over the weekend departments across the area helped in the search but the Fugitive Squad in Macon has taken over the investigation.

Prison officials believe he is out of the area but anyone with more information is being asked to call the Colquitt County Sheriff's Office or 911.
