TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) --There is going to be an "epic" community yard sale this weekend to benefit the Anthony Phoenix Branca Foundation, a local non-profit organization.

The organization was founded in memory of Tallahassee student Anthony Branca, who was killed by a distracted driver in 2014.  The yard sale will feature thousands of items, and 100 percent of the proceeds will support initiatives to end distracted driving and help those affected by it, said the foundation.

"When we started planning this fundraiser, we knew it should emulate Anthony's go 'big or go home' attitude," said Demetrius Branca, Anthony's father and President of the APB Foundation. "Thanks to yard sale donations from across the community, it will be epic. In addition to distracted driving awareness programs, funds will help us provide affected families with educational scholarships and grants to Camp Indian Springs, where Anthony was a mentor."

Items for sale will include everything from electronics and sporting goods to furniture and jewelry. You may use cash or credit card to purchase items.
