BAINBRIDGE, Ga. (WTXL)--A Decatur County EMS supervisor is out of job, following a suspension.
The now former shift supervisor, Joann Joiner, was suspended for three 24-hour shifts according to Decatur County Administrator Gary Breedlove.
This comes after an emergency call came in on March 12. Breedlove says Seminole County requested mutual aid from Decatur County on an emergency call, but Joiner denied mutual aid.
That emergency call was Richard Gubar's wife calling for help because her husband was unresponsive. Breedlove said the woman believes her husband was dead upon placing the 9-1-1 call.
