TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- The Big Bend Potters Guild and Morelia's Mexican  Restaurant will hold an Empty Bowl Supper to raise funds for the Tallahassee Emergency Care and Help Organization, or ECHO.

The fourth annual fundraiser will allow the organization to help local residents struggling with hunger.

The event will be Sunday, April 7, from 4-6 p.m. It will be held at Morelia's Mexican Restaurant (1355 Market Street).

Artisans from the Big Bend Potters Guild will have several handcrafted bowls available for purchase. Participants will be able to buy these bowls with a $15  donation, and then fill them with soup, courtesy of Morelia's. Mugs are also available for $15.

For soup only, children 10-17 can participate for $5. Those under 10 years old eat free. Kids may purchase a bowl at the adult price.

Live music will be provided by local band Hot Tamale.
