FRANKLIN COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) -A woman was killed in a car crash after losing control of her vehicle and hitting a pole in Franklin County.
According to a press release, on Friday at 12:01 a.m., a Chevy Tahoe was traveling on Bald Point Road and failed to negotiate a right turn. The Tahoe excited the roadway and hit a utility pole.
Troopers say the Tahoe rotated in a counterclockwise direction causing the vehicle to overturn. The driver was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle.
The driver identified as Laura Rocco, 70, of Alligator Point, died on scene of the tragic crash.
