TAYLOR COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) -- An elderly man was killed in a head-on crash in Taylor County on Monday.
It happened just before 1 p.m. on U.S. 98.
According to authorities, the victim's SUV crossed the center line and crashed into an oncoming car.
James Thomas Long, Jr., 70, of Panama City was pronounced dead at the scene.
The two passengers in the other car were not hurt.
Florida Highway Patrol troopers say the victim was wearing a seat belt, and alcohol was not a factor.
