TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Six days into 2019, and at least eight people have been shot in Leon County.
Early on New Year's Day, five people were shot in a plaza on Pensacola Street.
On January 3, a man was shot on Sapphire Drive. Leon County deputies arrested his father, who was later charged with attempted homicide.
And Sunday, two more people were shot, including the city's first fatality from a shooting this year.
